This is the first feature that Extinct Films is working on. It is a psychological drama focusing the life of a man having trouble with his life and family.
Synopsis
The story centers around a young man in his mid twenties named Josh Blair. He owns his own media company working out of his two bedroom apartment which he converted one of his rooms into an office. He lives by himself but as been dating a girl for almost three years, Julie. Julie is a law student fresh off taking the bar exam and now is looking for a job.
Josh also is very close with his sister who is ten or so years older than him, Stacy. Josh is very much an introvert but as slight moments of opening up when he is with his girlfriend or sister. When he meets his sister for their weekly lunch she tells Josh that their father is moving back close to the city. Josh is angered by the news because of the abusive relationship that he had with his father when he was younger.
Upon the return of his father into his life, Josh begins have unusual things happen to him and his family around him. He begins having dreams that seem to be affecting him and his loved ones. Josh also has to relive the abuse that he suffered during childhood.
Trying to deal with everything that is going on, Josh decides to cut himself off from the ones he loves. The only person he continues to talk to is his sister, hoping that she will believe him and try to help him. Trying not to destroy the lives of the people around him Josh is finally confronted with a decision he must make about the future.
